Open Field: Contextual Marketing Job Search & Market Intelligence
Open Field is a unique SaaS platform designed to revolutionize the marketing job search by providing unparalleled context and insights into open roles. It goes beyond traditional job boards, revealing the true nature of each position—whether it's building a new team, taking over from an agency, or filling a critical top-tier seat.
Targeting marketing professionals from manager to CMO at US brands, Open Field also offers a specialized tool, Harrier, for agencies seeking prospecting opportunities and market intelligence.
Key Features
- Deep Role Context: Understand the 'why now' behind every open marketing seat, offering insights into team dynamics and strategic needs.
- Comprehensive Coverage: Aggregates marketing roles daily from company career pages and various job boards across the US.
- No Staffing Agency Reposts: Ensures a clean feed of direct opportunities, free from recruiter noise.
- Market Pulse Analytics: Provides data on overall market trends, most-named tools, top industries, and work styles over the last 31 days.
- Personalized Job Alerts: "Ear to the Ground" email alerts deliver new roles matching user-defined preferences directly to their inbox.
- Harrier for Agencies: A dedicated prospecting tool for agencies, offering AI signal analysis, insights into agency replacements, in-housing trends, and cross-matching with funding and leadership moves.
Use Cases
For marketing job seekers, Open Field serves as an indispensable resource for navigating the competitive landscape. Instead of just seeing a job title, users gain critical context about the role's strategic importance and the challenges it aims to solve. This allows candidates to tailor their applications more effectively, understand company needs better, and identify opportunities that truly align with their career aspirations, from entry-level manager positions to executive CMO roles.
Agencies can leverage Harrier, the advanced prospecting arm of Peregrine OS, to identify new business opportunities. By analyzing trends like named agency replacements, in-housing initiatives, and leadership changes, agencies can proactively target brands in need of their services. The AI signal analysis further refines these insights, providing a strategic advantage in business development and market positioning.
Pricing Information
The core Open Field job search platform, offering contextual marketing roles and market pulse data, is available for free. Users can sign up for "Ear to the Ground" job alerts without any cost. While the content mentions "See Harrier →", implying a separate or premium offering for agencies, the primary job search functionality is free.
